"Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Blackshade Machine to readers who adore superbly crafted plots with interesting twists and realistically-penned alien fiction that sounds intimidatingly believable." - Reader's Favorite Editorial Review (5/5 Stars)
Book 1: Original Design
It is October 22, 2072. America, Canada, and Mexico no longer exist. Canada and America have combined to form a new nation called Candaerica, which has taken over Mexico. William Herbert Blackshade is a Colonel in the Candaerican Army Air Corp and is chosen by his country’s leaders to be the on-scene Commander when aliens land in Roswell, New Mexico. Upon making contact, the aliens (Who refer to themselves as Omegas) make some startling claims about humanity, why we are on Earth, where we come from, and why we were brought into being.
As Colonel Blackshade’s relationship with the aliens matures, he discovers many new truths about the Universe, the Earth, Humanity, and the aliens themselves. He also has to decide if the aliens are trustworthy or if they have an ulterior motive for making contact with humans. Colonel Blackshade deals with the repercussions of the alien’s arrival, on both the alien’s side, and humanity’s.
As the aliens offer us new information about our origins, some of humanity rejoices at the knowledge, and some reject it. If Colonel Blackshade cannot figure out how to bridge the gap between human and Omega, the extinction of man-kind is a very real possibility.
The Blackshade Machine, Book 1 made it to the "Longlist" of finalists in the Book Viral Book Awards.
It's basically 3rd place, shared with 29 others, (2nd place is called "Shortlisted" and was won by 5 authors) but I'm not complaining. This is pretty cool!
Book 2: Seeds of Change
Ambassador William “Bill” Blackshade and his dearest love Colonel Zahera Vuloom are in a race to save humanity from a slow and suffocating demise, thanks in part to the mistakes made by both humanity and the Omegas. As the two cultures learn about each other and rediscover how to co-exist, step one in the process is establishing a new military base in Roswell, New Mexico that will house and protect the bio-engineered “Wind Tree” the Omegas gifted to humanity. If successful, this tree will provide enough oxygen to save humanity from certain extinction. However, not every human believes this tree is the answer, or that the Omegas are as benevolent as they would have people believe.
Blackshade, Zahera, and their allies must not only continue to develop the relationship between the Omegas and humanity, but also between those that are for their continued presence among society and those that are against it.
Should they fail and the Omegas leave the planet, humanity’s extinction is almost a certainty, but if the Omegas remain, humanity could end up in a war against one another the likes of which hasn’t ever been seen.
Book 3: Echoes of Euclid
Candaerica is under siege. After an unseen signal, the Anti-Omega movement has attacked, and the results have devastated the country. Most of Candaerica’s leaders are dead or deep in hiding; military bases are begging for assistance. A nefarious act by the now-deceased President Silvia has crippled most of Candaerica’s military assets, and a threat unseen since WWII has reared its ugly head.
Blackshade, Zahera, and their remaining allies are forced to face a growing roster of enemies outnumbered, out-gunned, and out-positioned. With the Omegas withdrawn to their city, content to wait out the results of the coming war, Blackshade can’t even ask them for aid. They’re on their own, and the clever, newly-revealed leader of the Anti-Omegas is always one step ahead of them. If Blackshade and his team don’t figure out how to stop them, humanity is doomed.

The writing is clean and engrossing, the details are all there without turning into information dumps, and there is an authenticity to a meltdown on social media that would 100% happen in real life. Overall, this is a great start to a new series and absolutely worth putting your trust in.”
